The USA is probably our most popular overseas destination for our customers all year round. Florida is also the most common place where people drive in particular Orlando and all the theme parks. This is made easy as most of the attractions are loaded onto the device as Points Of Interest (POI).

Sat Nav Hire USA – how does it work?
We post it to you in the UK then simply post it back to us at the end of your rental. We can deliver to your home, office, hotel or other place of stay.

What do I get?
A TomTom ONE unit with the current mapping for USA and Canada.

1 Quick Start Guide to help you on your first journey.
1 Pre-addressed postal bag to return the unit to us.

How do I book?
Select your required rental dates above and add to cart. You then need to view cart and proceed to checkout

Do you take a deposit as well?
We check your card for an additional £30 on the 5th working day preceding the rental. This is called a pre-authorisation. Under no circumstances is this money debited from your account. The only money you will see debited on your statement is the rental cost.

When and what time do I get the sat nav?
By 1pm the working day before your rental starts. If you rental starts on a Monday we will deliver on Friday.

Who delivers the sat nav?
We use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service so it will be your postman.

Do I need to sign for it?
Someone at the delivery address will need to be available to sign for it.

What if I miss the delivery?
A card is left through the door advising where and when you can collect it.

Is it easy to use?
Yes. As well as the quick start guide we send you the Zintech team are always happy to help with any technical issues. We would also be happy to pre-program your unit with any destinations you wish to drive to.

Is the sat nav insured?
Usually it will be covered through your holiday, household, motor policy or car hire insurance but please check with them first.

When and how do I send it back?
You need to post it back from a UK Post Office in the provided packaging on the first working day after your rental finishes.

Are the maps up to date?
We always offer the very latest maps available from TomTom. This detailed map seamlessly covers the USA and Canada. The countries fully covered are the US (all states including Hawaii and Alaska) and Canada (all provinces) and Puerto Rico. Many of our customers visit Orlando, Florida and all the main attractions are listed under points of interest.

What if I need to extend my hire period?
Please notify us before your rental is due to end and usually we will be able to accommodate your request.

Please note that all hire products can only be delivered within the United Kingdom and bookings must be placed before 16.00 for next day delivery

Your Sat Nav (GPS) will be delivered by 1pm the working day before your rental start date via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Delivery is available to home, office or any other address as long as the unit can be signed for. If an earlier delivery time is required then please contact us for a quotation. Local customers are welcome to pick the TomTom up from our offices in Bournemouth to avoid delivery charges.

Returning Products

Please ensure that the following procedures are followed to avoid late returns which may result in late penalty fees as described in our Terms & Conditions.

1. Please post the satellite navigation unit back on the first working day following the end of your rental.

2. Place the Sat Nav (GPS) in the provided pre-addressed postal bag.

3. Take the package to the Post Office.

4. Post back to Zintech using Royal Mail 1st class recorded signed for service which will cost £4.65.
